ok so i have an 05 ram 1500 reg cab, i got the two front door speakers replaced with aftermarket, and i got a 12" jl sub and amp. i got it every installed by a car stereo company, and the other day i was wondering since the bass only sounds to arrive from the rear sub i unplugged my sub and noticed i have noise but 0 bass at every coming from door speakers, now i know they are just door speakers but i mean they should at least have something. i messed with every the audio options in my indash and still nothing. i dont know what type the speakers are and i dont feel like checking at this point but they are pretty high quality, so im just wondering is there any thing i can do, as in rewire or something like that to receive at least some amount of bass out of them, thanks

I have a 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac & I originally had a Factory 6 CD Changer Pioneer radio that came with the truck whenever I bought it. Well 2 months ago I bought a Indash TV with Navi & every these other things. Well now I'm getting rid of the truck so I put back in the original Factory radio & it wont turn on! You can press Load to load the CD's & they will load inside the stereo but after it's done loading it powers off. The buttons arrive on at night on the radio, but the display doesn't arrive on. i need help!!

Hi I have a renault megane convertible with a 6 cd changer mounted in the boot. It has worked fine until i changed a cd now "CD" wont even appear in the indash display when i switch from radio to cd. I have tried resetting but still no joy. Can anyone help pleassseeeeee?

HI, the other day my indash tv/radio started shutting off and right after my temp gauge started to rise slightly. I turned on the heat and it goes down and stabalizes but radio turns on and off on and off while driving.. Swithced the thermostat due to risen temp radiator fans workbled system etc. Now today driving home when i put on my headlights (hids) Everytime i steped on the gas my headlights would turn off as well as my radio and temp gauge moves up slightly.. ???? My car when i bought it had a huge kinetic battery in it already with a battery isolator could that be the problem,? a short???. What should i do????? I turn off the car step on the gas pedal nothing happens tv stays on and headlights\???

My Bose 6disk indash cd player will not play cd's. It would always skip and mot play most tracks. Now it just reads "disk mistake" on every cd's that I try. even brand new one's.

i possess a alpine indash car stereo that i used to hook my ipod touch 1st gen up to it worked fabulous but the ipod finaly took a dump, i now am using a ipod touch 2nd gen i know that apple changed the voltage that it takes to charge the ipod 2nd and 3rd gen i think it used to be 8 volts now its 5 or something like that. but does anyone know a converter to lower or lift the voltage to the ipod connector so i can still use the ipod with my stereo

i jus got a indash dvd for my car and it has the subwoofer output for the rca's but only has 1 green rca jack comin out the back of the indash the says subwoofer output every other cdplayers i have had has the regular white n red rca jacks this one only has a green, even in the manual it only says it has 1 how do i hook up the 2 rca's that go to my amp to jus 1rca subwoofer output?

Okay so i hooked up 2 twelves in my car and i replaced the stock radio with an indash. The stock radio im guessing was hooked up to the stock amp so when i changed radios, the door and 6x9 speakers no longer worked. So i ran wires directly from the speakers to the indash but now i have a stock amp just sitting there. i was wondering if there is a way to be able to have this stock amp work with my indash. The speakers where MUCH louder with the stock amp.

I am installing a new pioneer avh-p4200dvd in my 2002 Honda Accord and I not sure where the park wire is locatedor where it should be connected to. According to some forums this indash cannot have the park wire connected to the ground wire. Thanks in advance.

valor sd-900 had sony cd player months ago at first turned off when car turned off then started to stay on so i would just half way lift the face off.... got the indash it worked fine for months then today it didnt turn off so i pulled it out every wires look good red red yellow yellow and so on.

i have a 1984 300zx with every new speakers and a AVIC-N1 pioneer indash it sounds good when its at a low volume but when i turn it up my speakers start to crack and sound nasty. i turned down every the bass in the speakers and they still do it. COULD MY STOCK AUDIO AMP THAT CAME WITH THE CAR BEE BAD? i have after market speakers "audiobahn abc6003v" set they are good speakers so i dont think it is them but when i turn up the music when the bass hits on the 6 1/2 and components that is when they crack and the lights on the indash kinda blink every time it does.. i have an optama so its not the batt...

I have an indash alpine stereo with a TV that pops out. I haven't used the tv in over 3 years lol. I receive no reception at every on it. The DVD works but the TV no longer gets reception. I figured out that since 2009 we receive no TV reception without a digital tuner. Is it possible to receive an add on of some sort? Or will I have to replace the whole thing? I like having the tv to check out the freeway conditions on the way to work. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

2003 Dodge Grand Caravan, stock radio with tape player is seperate from stock 6 disk player. Also my glove box has no light. I thought it could be a fuse because of the two together but the box below the hood shows no blown fuses. Can't find where anymore fuses would be. The disk changer has NO power, lights, movement sound and every. Can anyone give me different ideas of what this may be?

Ok so i have a 2004 toyota corolla and I recently spent 2000$ on my soundsystem. I want to know if I overpaid. This is a list of what I had installed. 1). Alpine indash with ipod connection 2). 2 kicker 6x9 3). 2 kicker 6 1/2 4). 2 15 inch kicker cvr 5). Double ported box 6). 2400D orion amp 7). Avionixx 600.4 amp 8). 4 gauge wiring(orion amp) 9). 8 gauge wiring(avionixx amp) 10). Dynamat in my whole trunk including side panels 11). 1 Farad digital cap This includes every the necessary wires for both amps including the fuses and fuse box and the installation. This was a full system and the install took about 6 hours. Thanks to every who answer. I am a college student right now and I paid for every this with scholarships and grants I recieved from the school. None of this came directly out my pocket but I want to know if I overpaid for what i got. I managed to keep 2000$ by limiting my spending money, and living in a triple dorm.

so i got a 1993 ranger and i bought a flip out indash dvd player i havent put it in yet but i noticed that the vent will be right behiind the back of the screen when its out and i was wanting to know if when its blowing heat or air is it going to hurt the screen because it will blowing directly on the back of it...thanks 10 points to best answer

I just got a new indash tv/dvd on my 08 altima and I installed it my self. everything works fine. just that when i turn on my headlights, the stereo displays no signal. then i turn off my healights and it works fine.. the only thing I didnt connect on my stereo was the blue/white cable coming from the car, because the stereo didnt have that blue/white cable. and the stereo has a orange cable that said allumi and I also didnt know where to connect that cable. can anyone help..?

I ran over a steel dish in road and the backlight went out on the dash LCD screen. My Flashlight lets me still look screen and adjust settings. I tried the fuses and still no backlight. Ford said that they don't have replacements, just have to send back east of us to fix takes about a week and $600. Please help??

well first off i have 2 kicker L5 subs with the kicker Sub enclosure and they said when i calll tech supp. the the box was tuned at 42 hrz and i have a 98 buick centurey and i my box fits it dont take up too much space at every and it is ported and i have a 900 watt amp kicker zx and i have pioneer indash,,,, i was wanting to know why does it sound like it is not just hitting right like i have had some re's memphis and kicker comps and it just dont sound like it is doing what it is suppose to oh they r wired at 4 ohms at the boxes termnilals and 4 ohm stable amp every so i just know that it will hit harder because i have hurd it in a suv and it bangs difficult so will pollyfill help they had allready had it in my box when i received the stuff in the mail i just thought that it was packing stuff that they had to protect the speakers and i didnt know untill someone told me about pollyfill so will it make my bass sound better i just want them to slap me in my face and hit harrrrrrrrd if yall know what i mean i have spent over 1500 dollars on every kinds of stuff and i am sleepy of messing with what i need to receive next to make it sound better.... and another question will pro bass box help or make it the same or is the kicker box just as the same pleeeeeaaaassseeee hellllllllpppp....... quickly.......thanks.... u can email me even at michaelwaynekelly@yahoo.com zx amp 900 watt rms and 4ohm dvc wired at what kicker wired them at it sayd at the end of box on the Termninal cup 4 ohms and thats it now will some one pleaase help

I have a valor mutimedia indash radio.. and i have the navi-2 navigation box, how to hook up navigation wires? theres black obviously ground a red with yellow stripe and a yellow.. yellow seems to be constant 12v on my wiring harness for my radio.. so where does this red with yellow stripe connect to from my navigation box?

My personal favorite is the Lancer but the interior is a bit plain and the fuel efficiency isn't that great. The Altima's interior is my least favorite (looks stupid) The CSX's and is one of my favorite interiors (because of the indash display) I've been at this for weeks and I'd like to receive your opinions!
